Founded in 1995, The School for Young Performers (SYP) was originally designed for students needing to balance their education with careers in the performing arts and athletics. The school has evolved to accommodate pupils with learning differences and discerning families desiring a boutique educational experience. SYP is committed to providing a meaningful one-on-one education for students whose lifestyles, professions or learning styles are incompatible with the traditional classroom construct.
One-To-One Education
SYP students have the distinct advantage of one-on-one instruction. Every aspect of the education our students receive is customized - including class schedules, topics of study, and hands-on lesson plans with real world application.
College Preparation
Upper School students have access to rigorous, personalized college prep and counseling - so they’re ready to excel on tests and submit distinctive applications. Alumni have attended Ivy League and top-tier schools nationwide.
Admissions
SYP is able to accept new students on a rolling basis. No matter the time of year, our team is ready to set up new students to begin immediately. We remain deeply committed to cultivating an inclusive, diversified, and global student body.
