Brady Norvall, College Admissions Mentor
Brady Norvall is a leading expert on global college admissions. In 2011, he began his partnership with The School for Young Performers (SYP) as a resource to provide crucial education planning support and has been a consistent advocate for SYP’s education model and programs. Brady is excited to officially join the SYP team, with the shared goal of ensuring that SYP families are the most well-informed about the transition from high school to university and SYP students always feel empowered and aware.
Brady is the Founder and C.E.O. of FindaBetterU, an education counseling firm for students, families, schools, and organizations, with clients across the U.S., Latin America, and Europe. He first worked as a high school college counselor and in the non-profit sector. In 2005, he started FindaBetterU, beginning his long, rewarding career as a mentor for teenagers. A few years later, Brady began to work as a resource for British, American, and international schools and consult with corporate partners, including YPO, banks, and executive coaching firms, to teach about the dynamics and challenges within the university admission landscape.
After two decades, Brady’s love continues to be mentoring teenagers and helping families navigate the processes of education planning and goal-setting. He endows students with the right information and a healthy sense of friendship so they can become their best selves. He speaks on higher education, cultural concepts of success and happiness, the transitions families undertake with adolescents, and how to create positive communication around the process of college planning. After 20+ years working closely with young people and families during this crucial rite of passage, from teen to young adult, Brady has written his first book, Ask the College Counselor: Every Family’s Guide to University Admissions and Putting Your Best Story Forward, forthcoming in the Summer/Fall of 2025.
