Dr. Latonya Wiley, Business Workshop Specialist

Dr. Latonya Wiley is an educator, entrepreneur, and community leader with over 15 years of experience empowering youth through business education, financial literacy, and social entrepreneurship. She holds a Ph.D. in Global Leadership and Change and a master’s degree in Social Entrepreneurship from Pepperdine University. She is currently pursuing an MBA at Georgia State University with a concentration in International Business.

Dr. Wiley serves as a middle school business and financial literacy educator, where she designs engaging, fun, and real-world learning experiences that introduce students to entrepreneurship, investing, marketing, and wealth-building concepts. Her curriculum blends creativity, games, simulations, and hands-on projects, helping students transform ideas into viable products and businesses while building confidence, leadership skills, and an entrepreneurial mindset.

Beyond the classroom, Dr. Wiley supports youth-led startups, mentors aspiring entrepreneurs, and partners with families and organizations to guide students through product development, branding, and go-to-market strategies. She is deeply committed to culturally responsive education, economic empowerment, and creating pathways for the next generation of innovators and change-makers. Dr. Wiley is thrilled to be leading SYP's business and entrepreneurship workshops for its families and the greater SYP community.
